Hello, I'm Paul Consiglio, Art Director, Graphic + Web Designer, Consultant, and Photographer.

The story.

I grew up in Buffalo, NY. The once very hard working, industrial steel and grain city of Buffalo, now known as Zero City. I started to pursue college with the love of computers as a computer science major. Within a year of number crunching and trying to learn a language from another planet, I decided to switch my focus to my real passion — design.

Since Buffalo has molded me into a very eclectic and artsy being, Buffalo State's Design program was perfect for my degree. After four lovely years hard work and hard play (don't ask), I finally received my BS in Design.

After a few of design and freelance jobs I decided I needed a major change. I also had the urge to ski and snowboard on a real mountain, not just western New York's hills covered with blue ice, that if you fell going full speed, you would see stars and the god of your choice. So with a little research I decided on the best snow on earth — Salt Lake City, Utah. I had to adjust to the slightly different culture here in SLC as to compared to Buffalo where i'm from, but I think I figured it out — I think.

How I approach the solution.

I listen carefully without any interruptions. If what is interpreted is clear within the first few minutes I usually have an answer to the problem before the conversation is finished. If not, this means we spend more time assuring the client what the best solution to their situation/problem is and how it will be achieved in the most fulfilling, simple way. I'm actually putting your visiting, potential customer first, so the information you give me is of utmost importance in web optimization.

72pixels Philosophy:

Keep it Simple — achieve what the visitor/shopper came to do with minimal effort. Online visitors will not stay on a page that is overwhelming with too much information and/or has horrible navigation - get to the point. The site is there to intice them with enough information or to make the deal appetizing. Stick to key messages whether if involves images, copy writing, and keywords - all with the aspiration of MINIMALISM.
